The Laboratory of Professor Dimitrios Bikiaris is part of the Laboratory of Chemistry and Technology of Polymers and Dyes, in the Department of Chemistry of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Dimitrios Bikiaris is a Professor of Polymer Chemistry and Technology in the Department of Chemistry, AUTH. He obtained his degree on chemistry in the same deparment, and then continued with his PhD research on the synthesis of diepoxy derivatives and their application in tuning the properties of polyesters. ​Professor Bikiaris has published more than 400 papers in international scientific journals and has an h-index of 68. In 2017, he was awarded the prize of excellency in research on natural sciences from AUTH.
