100 scientists of AUTH among the top 100,000 across all fields

J. Ioannidis et al. recently published updated databases of standardized citation metrics across all scientists and scientific disciplines. The databases include all scientists who are among the top 100,000 across all fields according to the composite citation index. Among them, 650 scientists that are based in Greece are included, with 102 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Professor Dimitrios Bikiaris, head of BikiarisLab ranked 2nd in all of Aristotle University, and 13th among the scientists based in Greece. In the subfield of Polymers, prof. Bikiaris is ranked 91st among all the scientists in the database, witnessing the impact of his work on Polymer Science worldwide.
