Alexandra Zamboulis, who during September joined the research team of Ass. Pr. Arico as a visiting scholar of the Ca' Foscari Univsrsity of Venezia, delivered a talk entitled "Biobased polymers: Pioneering sustainable solutions for a greener future". Her presentation highlighted several research projects of the team, accross the lifecycle of polymers—from their synthesis to their end-of-life as microplastics, were highligthed during this talk.
It was also the opportunity to present the REDONDO project, targeting the development of crosslinked polyethylene, and to showcase the latest results obtained with biobased additives.
