BikiarisLab participated at the M18 review meeting of the REDONDO project, hosted at SILON’s facilities in the city of Tabor, Czech Republic on the 13th and 14th of March 2024. Being the coordinator of the project, AUTH demonstrated the aim of the project for developing a reversibly cross-linked polyethylene (rPEX), rendering the up-to-date non-recyclable PEX a recyclable-by design innovative polymer, as well as the tasks and activities regarding the administrative management and coordination, the specifications and requirements.
The meeting served as a platform for project partners to convene and assess progress made over the initial 18-month period, to present the challenges they faced and the goals for the next period, in the presence of the Project Officer and the Evaluator of the REDONDO project from the European Union.
The review meeting was accompanied by parallel activities such as a tour in the laboratories and the production facilities, that were an additional opportunity for constructive dialogues and strengthening of relations between the partners of the program.
