M36 Review Meeting of the REDONDO project

BikiarisLab participated at the REDONDO 36M Consortium & Review Meeting hosted by ISQ in Oeiras, Portugal on the 30th of September and 1st of October.

As the project coordinator, AUTH showcased the project’s vision to develop a reversibly cross-linked polyethylene (rPEX) — transforming today’s non-recyclable PEX into a recyclable-by-design innovative material. The team also presented the progress on coordination, administrative management, the specifications and requirements.

The meeting brought together all project partners to review the achievements of the first 36 months, discuss encountered challenges, and outline objectives for the upcoming phase, with the participation of the Project Officer and the EU-appointed Evaluator.

Alongside the review sessions, project partners also visited the ISQ facilities, fostering fruitful exchanges and closer collaboration.

In parallel, a hybrid workshop titled “Advancing Recyclable Polymers & Composites: Safety, Sustainability & Innovation” took place, featuring insightful presentations and discussions on the latest advances and future perspectives in SSbD, material safety, standards, and legislative trends shaping circular polymer innovation.
