Participation of BikiarisLab in the FUR4Sustain summer meeting

Professor Bikiaris along with postdoctoral researchers Dr Alexandra Zamboulis and Dr Zoi Terzopoulou had the opportunity to join in person the Summer Meeting of the FUR4Sustain Cost action in Aveiro, Portugal.

On the 14th and 15th of September, the participants discussed on the progress of the Action and planned the next activities. Several oral presentations, both in-person and online were given, on current topics surrounding sustainability, regarding biobased polymers and monomers, as well as recycling. Professor Bikiaris presented the work that our lab has performed on FDCA-based and other biobased polyesters during the Action.

We would like to thank the action chair Dr Andreia Sousa for the organization of a safe and fruitful event and for the excellent hospitality in Aveiro!
