PhD defense of a BikiarisLab member

On the 14th of July, our group member, Georgia Michailidou, defended her PhD thesis, entitled: " 3D printing of blends of chitosan and its derivatives for controlled drug release", graded as "Excellent".

Along the years of her Ph.D., Georgia has published 15 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and has partcipated in 16 national and international conferences with proceedings. She was also a grantee of an IKY Scholarship Programme for PhD candidates in the Greek Universities, co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Social Fund-ESF).

We would like to congratulate Georgia for her excellent work and presentation, and wishing her a bright and creative scientific future!
