The team of BikiarisLab and the group of Assoc. Professor Labropoulou (in the picture) visited the premises of the Department of Chemistry of the International Hellenic University (IHU) located in Kavala,Greece.
During the visit, Assoc. Professor Georgios Kyzas guided us through the laboratories of the University, while along with Professor Bikiaris and Professor Labropoulou they discussed the overall progress of the research project " Development of Monitoring and Removal strategies of Emerging Micropollutants in wastewater - MOREM" in which they participate. Dr. George Z. Kyzas is Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry at the IHU. He studied Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). He obtained his BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees from the same Department expertised in Chemical Technology. He then worked as a PostDoc Researcher at the Department of Chemistry (AUTh) in many research projects. He is now the Head of the Department (since 2019) and also Director/Chair of the MSc in Cosmetic Chemistry (since 2021).
