Last week, BikiarisLab participate in the EPF 2022 conference that was held in Prague.
PhD candidate Lazaros Papadopoulos, Dr Zoi Terzopoulou and Dr Alexandra Zamboulis attended the conference, with a total of 6 poster presentations.
Both Lazaros and Alexandra were awarded ITC conference Grants from Fur4Sustain COST Action to present their work on FDCA-based polymers.
Lazaros also presented a poster containing work from his PhD thesis which is funded by HFRI and DAAD, with the title "An Eco-Friendlier Approach To Additive Manufacturing: Utilization Of High Biobased Content, Itaconic Acid Based Polyesters in Digital Light Processing 3D Printing".
Dr Terzopoulou presenting her reasearch funded by the Greek State Scholarship Foundation (IKY).
Results from the project Nanomythic were disseminated.
Finally, results from the PhD Thesis of Renia Nakiou were presented by the team.
We would like to thank the organizing commitee for the excellent conference, that attracted more than 500 participants all over Europe and we are looking forward to the next one in 2025 in the Netherlands!
