In a remarkable showcase of scientific excellence, BikiarisLab recently participated in two prestigious events—the 20th International Conference on Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies (NN Conference) and the 13th NANOTEXNOLOGY Expo 2023 held in Thessaloniki, Greece on 4-7 July 2023. These events have become prominent platforms for global discussions on the latest developments in Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies (N&N), attracting scientists, researchers, and industry leaders from diverse backgrounds.
During the conference, Professor Bikiaris presented the BIOMAC project, shedding light on the lab's European-funded research on advanced polymers. Notably, the lab played a pivotal role in coordinating both the BIOMAC and REDONDO projects, showcasing their commitment to pushing the boundaries of N&N research.
The BIOMAC project's focus on biobased nanocomposite products stood out as an eco-conscious and sustainable alternative to traditional petroleum-based materials. Attendees were intrigued by the potential of these innovative products in various industries, including packaging, electronics, and biomedical applications.
Beyond the projects themselves, BikiarisLab's active participation in these events fostered valuable connections within the scientific community, encouraging collaborative efforts and knowledge exchange.
As we celebrate BikiarisLab's contributions to the advancement of Nanotechnologies, we are reminded of the collective effort required to shape a better future. The BIOMAC project exemplifies the power of interdisciplinary research and innovation, promoting a more sustainable and environmentally friendly approach to material development.
Looking ahead, we anticipate even more groundbreaking breakthroughs from BikiarisLab, as they continue to make a positive impact on the world through their dedication to N&N research. The collaborative spirit demonstrated at the NN Conference and NANOTEXNOLOGY Expo 2023 serves as a driving force for further advancements in Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies, offering hope for a brighter and more sustainable future.
